simple title huh!!!

Started as a huge acrylic project.
Initially did the skethcing with pencil.
Then painted it with acrylic. Too much dryness caused me to add some layers of wet watercolor. And by the time it ended, this was a cool project. ... and, with so much of layers of paint, the thing has become very fragile. Then, the contours I had done with pencil were overlaid with paints, so I had to make one more layer of painting using white paint to give the terrain and the rings its contours


Size about 16x20 after cutting off some edges,

Had to borrow a friend's digital camera to get a shot of this.

too bad the original is torn. I am so stupid I painted this with paper on floor. .. then, I tried to pick it up, . . .there were adhesions between floor and paper, got torn, I cried, but I have digital version atleast

If possible, PLEASE full view, you may appreciate the effort I took in making the luminous sky (mind u not easy to do it in traditional art, that too when not using oil paints).

Please give a look at the rings of the big planet and the craters of the smaller one please!
