Hello!
Making this out of joy and dedicating this to my beloved elder sister Dr Vidya Kamath, who is an obsterician-gynaecologist. Hmm, I have this bad habit of skipping lunch in the afternoon at hospital ... many people have suggested me to have food.. only in vain... but Dr Vidya cares for me so much that she has forced and coaxed me to have food and on many occasions given me her food! Blessed I felt on that day when she said, "you are like my little bro".. you know, I felt so happy.. it was such a pleasant thing to hear, out of the blue! Not just that, for some reason... we share a lot of similarities... we didnt know each other till november 2006... but soon realised how many characters we share in common... out short tempers... our low threshold for irritability, .. our insane-obsessive dedication for work... our self-respect and the habit of not requesting for leave from work.. .. then this strange thing... whenever I meet her I get this strange "something good is going to happen" feeling... which does happen. And when me and her worked together there was no mortality in the eclampsia labor ward!!! I am so lucky to have you as my elder sis, dear tengin mara(which means coconut tree... cos she is tall)! I know you are reading this... the world knows you are my elder sis now! And wishing you a happy birthday! (Feb 8th 2007)


Now, about this artwork,
made using PS7, rf stock from sxc.hu, and brushworking using my 6x4.5 graphical tablet. Took a few hours... didnt keep count..
Inspired by the movie 'Contact' , in which the scientist happens to warp into some realm, a beautiful realm, which seems like heaven... walking on a shore by a sea, and a sky filled with stars and planets and GLOW
