Note that the title 'most beautiful fractal' doesnt mean that I am claiming this to be the best fractal on DA. I am only indicating that this is the best among those created by me.
In an attempt to make a 'balanced gallery' , on the lines of 'balanced diet' in order to reduce monotony of space art, I have rendered this fractal using Gimp, . A smaller version existed, but I had deleted it when I tried to scrap it
Dedicating this to gimp.org without which software most of my gallery would have been nonexistant
this is a huge version
Making :
1) the smaller version was the inspiration for the bigger one.
2) I tried to 'redo' it by acrylics on white paper. But as u can guess, it didnt work. So, I scanned the art paper and then , used it as the background for rendering this fracal in Gimp.
The background paper being a real one, and fractal a computer generated one, and above it a 'watercolor filter' , this is as close to a real one as one can get.
Very great picture, both the picture and the background. The colors work nicely too. It may not be the most beautiful fractal, but it is surely one of the best out there! At least, the ones I've seen...
Awesome! This reminds me of when I paint with watercolor. When I dip the brush in the water, the color spreads and move into a very miscellaneous design. Good work!
